Manchester Northern Quarter
We went to Manchester the other day and as we were walking around we came across the bizarre sight of a number of Michael Jackson lookalikes walking near the Triangle shopping centre.
I saw a few things that I really liked as we walked through the Northern Quarter. There are increasing numbers of retro shops opening up, to be honest a lot of the stuff is really rubbish, but I like the feel of the shops. They have a creative edge to them.

Junk is located on Dale Street.
Baby Cakes is near the Manchester Craft Village, next to Majolica Works.
The blue graffiti design is on the outside of Afflecks Palace.
I also thought the window display at All Saints was stunning with all the old sewing machines.
I really laughed when I saw the posters for Manchester’s Comedy Festival. A series of miserable portraits in black and white; inspired.
