Ynys Llanddwyn and birthday walk

01Sep11

The following photographs are by Ellie.
The beach at Newborough on Anglesey is one of my favourite places. The day was not promising, heavy clouds and slate grey sky. The gentle sweep of the bay leads to the Island, a peaceful contemplative place, inhabited by ponies, grasshoppers, butterflies and beetles. Sitting down in one of the sandy coves was a revitalising tonic.
