Optical illusion at Cardiff Bay barrage. Swiss artist Felice Varini and his team created an unusual piece of public art that is set to baffle and fascinate visitors to Cardiff Bay barrage.

Wrexham’s Heal the Last Stand launch their excellent new single, The Gathering on World Peace Day this Saturday, with celebrations all day on Llwyn Isaf in the town centre. They are also getting a lot of Air Play on BBC Radio Wales this week

I was walking through the Overleigh Cemetary in Chester and came upon the rather grand centrepiece; a monument dedicated to William Makepeace Thackerey. Not the author of Vanity Fair, but rather his uncle who had been a doctor at the Bluecoat Hospital and the new infirmary. You can read more here:
