Juggling being an artist and having a day job

An interesting article about the challenges facing artists who need to earn a living. Interestingly London-centric. I have always had to have a day job, and it’s really hard to maintain your practice while retaining the “freedom” of not having a gallery to sell for you, and in fact I know lots of artists who are represented but still needs day job to support their families, pay the rent/mortgage.
